Well, It's Been A While Again, But Not Much Is Going On. The Business Deal Is Looking Good, But I'm Still Trying To Work Out A Few Details Before Filing All The Paperwork.

In Other News, I Had The Distinct Privilege Of Sampling Vaping Birdy's Juice Line Since My Last Post And That Was Definitely A Treat. My Old Friend And Fellow Vaper, Chris, Came Over To Help Me Out. We Tried A Few Set Ups; A Few Tanks And A Couple Of Dripper Builds, Getting Through The Entire Line In A Matter Of Hours. Let Me Just Say, Their Juice Is Top Notch. They Have A High Quality Product That Produces Crazy Vapor, Held Up Against Everything We Threw At It, And Tasted Fantastic The Whole Time. It's A Definite Winner.

The Flavor Descriptions From The Vendor:
Crème à la Vanille - Ultra creamy and smooth vanilla custard. Snowy Owl - Cool minty blend of watermelon and some surprises. Tropical Toucan - Sweet tropical blend of Guava, citrus and some other goodies. Fischer's Lovebird - An explosion of lychee and mango flavor. Bald Eagle - Toffee, chocolate and coffee party with a kick that will wake you up in the morning. Green Parakeet - Cinnamon Apple Pie that reminds you of Christmas every day. Emperor Penguin - Uber creamy blast of condensed milk with a hint of honeydew melon. Empress Penguin - Fresh strawberries dipped in condensed milk, that sweetens the strawberries and adds a bit of creamy texture without overpowering them. Bananaquit - Turon a popular Filipino fried caramelized saba banana dessert that is terrific rich in flavors.

Empress Penguin And Bananaquit Have Been Released In A Special Edition Box With And Extra Bottle To Allow For Mixing The Two Flavors, Providing A Strawberry Banana Smoothie Type Vape That Is Very Good. We Sampled That As Well. Also, Snowy Owl Won Best Menthol/Mint At The Vegas Vape Summit A Couple Of Weeks Ago. They Say It's Watermelon, But It Tastes Berry-like To Me, But Either Way, It's Fantastic.

Chris And I Both Were Really Surprised At How Well The Flavors Were Described, Came Through, And Held Up Sub Ohm. The Cream Flavors Of Emperor And Empress Penguin Were My Personal Favorites Out Of The Line, While Chris Was Pretty Taken With The Tropical Toucan. However, Neither Of Us Had A Bad Taste For Any Of Their Juices. Personally, I Could Vape 7 Out Of 9 Of These All Day. The Other Two Are Just Too Rich, But Are Perfect With A Coffee Or As An After Dinner Treat.

A Guy I Went To School With Passed Away On Memorial Day. He's The 11th Person That Graduated In 2002 From Our High School To Do So. Pretty Crazy...This Is Not A Big Town.

I'm Pretty Sure I'm Still Dropping Some Inches, But Haven't Lost Any Weight On The 4 Hour Body Diet. However, I Am Convinced I'm Building Muscle. How, I'm Not Sure. I'm Eating Good Six Days A Week And A Cheat Day Has To Be The Greatest Idea Ever. I Tear It Up Every Time.

I've Been Playing WWE 2K14 On 360 Recently. I Haven't Owned A Wrestling Game Since WWF Wrestlemania 2000 On Nintendo 64. This One Is Pretty Good, But I Still Like 2000 Better. Nonetheless, My Tivo Is Getting Full Between That And Doctor Who On Netflix... 

I Won A Contest On Instagram A While Back. These Guys, Vapers Summit, Had A Contest To Get Some More Followers. Ended Up, I Won, Which Was Pretty Cool Because I Rarely Win Anything. So, A Week Or So Later I Get A Package From Utah. They Sent Me Their Whole Line Up Of Drip Tips, Which Is Currently Three. I Dig "The Grant" The Best.  It's An 18mm Tall Brass Tip With A 4mm Bore. It Doesn't Match Anything I Have, But Definitely Still My Favorite. It Fits Everything And Is A Perfect Size For My APVs. 

I Have Killed Off The Starship 1, But Still Haven't Got Into The Derailed. I Have Recently Finished The Bottle Of Alice In Vapeland "Twas Brilling" That I Picked Up While In Utah. It Was A Sad Day. I'll Be Reordering Quickly. That Shit Is Delicious.- BB

The Atlanta Thrashers Played Their Last Season In 2011. I Liked Those Guys. True, They Never Did Much, But It Was Always A Good Time Watching Hossa, Heatly, And Kovalchuk. That's Where We Were Introduced To The Now Dallas Stars Goalie, Kari Lehtonen. Good Stuff.

Any Way, I'm Looking For Some Thrasher Fan Gear And There Is Little To None To Be Had. You May Find A Hat Or Two In Not Your Size, Maybe A Mouse Pad, Stuff Like That. No Player Stuff, No Logo Stuff. Is It Too Much To Ask For Somebody To Print Some Thrashers Shirts? There Has To Be A Market For Merch From Teams From The Past. 

Teams Like The Minnesota North Stars, Hartford Whalers, And The Quebec Nordiques Get Gear. Sure. Their Clubs Are Smart. The North Stars Are Now The Dallas Stars. The Nordiques Are Now The Colorado Avalanche And Hartford Is Now The Carolina Hurricanes (Who Just Cleaned Out Their Coaching Staff, BTW).

The Thrashers Were Relocated Due To Financial Difficulty. They Are Now The Winnipeg Jets. (And Seriously Winnipeg, Does Every NHL Team You Get Have To Be The Jets?) You Would Think They Would Be Capitalizing On A Brand They Now Own. You Would Think They Would Be Selling The Shit Out Of Thrashers Gear In Atlanta. I Would.

Why Not? I'd Probably Give Someone $30+ For A Midland Angels T-Shirt With The Texas/Halo Logo On It. For Real. I Used To Love To Watch Warren Moon (Oilers) Or Gary Payton And Xavier McDaniel (SuperSonics) Play As A Kid. I'd Love To Have That Jersey. I Wasn't Alive When The Chapparals Were In Dallas, But I'd Rock That Shirt. Dallas Is My Neck Of The Woods(-ish) And That Roadrunner Logo Is Cool As Hell. If Spurs Fans Know Their History, They Might Want One Too. (The Chaps Moved To SA In '73 To Become The Spurs, In Case You Were Wondering.) A Lot Of These Things Not Only Represent Memories For People, But Franchise Pride, And Area Or City History.

People Are So Quick To Forget About Things. I Think Reminders Of The Past Are Essential To Remind Us Of Times And Places...And People, But More Importantly, To Remind Us That Atlanta Just Can't/Won't Support A Hockey Team. The Thrashers Was Strike 2 Guys. 

On A Seperate, But Related Note, I Was In Idaho For Work Last Week. Once Again, I Have Proven Myself Right On These Missed Opportunites. I'm In The Idaho Steelheads Office Trying To Get A Couple Of Shirts Or A Hat Or Anything Really To Take Back To Texas. The Steelheads Are A Minor League Affiliate Of The Stars (And Are In The Conference Semi-Finals Right Now). They Have No Merch. Maybe 15-20 T-Shirts Total, A Couple Of Scarves, And Roughly A Box Of Velcro Caps. All The Designs Are Horrible, Besides One That They Didn't Have My Size In. Merchandising Should Be Run For What It Is, A Business. It's An Alternative Income...And If You Can't Handle Your Own Branding, Their Are Companies That Do Only That. Your Team's In The Playoffs And You Have No Fan Gear? For Shame. For Real. Not Cool. - BB

Home, Home Again...

The Wife And I Left Our Cozy Little Home, Flourish And Blotts*, On Friday The 25th Of April To Go To Her Parent's In Central(-ish) Texas, Not To Return Until May 2nd. So, We've Been A Little Out Of Pocket. The Lady Stayed With Here Parents And I Was On Business In Idaho. Yep. Idaho. There's Actually Industry There...And It's Also Absolutely Gorgeous. They Call The Area "Treasure Valley" And I Dig It. When It's Warm, Of Course. Winter Up There Is Pretty Brutal. One Of The Guys I Work With Got To Experience A Little -17 Action This Year.

I Was Able To Visit A Couple Of Vapor Shops In My Travels And Had Some Mail Lined Up When I Got Home, Which Is Always Cool. I Got To Visit Aggieland Vapors In College Station, TX, As Well As Vaportec And Vapor Lord In Boise, ID. I Picked Up A Little Something At Each Of Course.

On The Way Out Of Town, I Stopped At Vapertec And Picked Up The Vapor Crane Juices, Which Were Actually The Reason I Went To Vapor Lord. The Vendor's Website Said They Carried It, But They Didn't Pick It Up When Guys Across Town Did. I'm Glad I Went To Both And I'm Really Pleased With All My Purchases. I Have Yet To Get Into The Derailed Or The Ramune, But I Sampled Them In The Shops. So, I'm Pretty Excited.

I Got Home On Friday Night And Had My First Mech Waiting On Me. It's Just A HCigar Nemesis Clone, But It Does The Job Well. Then, This Morning When I Got To Work, My Nirvana Vapor Sampler Came In. All The Juices Smelled Fantastic And Were Packed Really Nicely. I'll Let You Know About Those...

The Nemi Clone Is Sweet. I'm Loving That AIV Juice In A 1.1 ohm (Respun) Kanger Tank. I've Messed With The Dripper A Little More As Well, But Still Haven't Got The Hang Of It...I'll Keep You Posted. - BB
