Sell Yourself!

I'm No Marketing Expert, By Any Stretch Of The Imagination. But Seriously. How Can You Have A Pro, Semi-Pro, Minor League, Etc. Sports Team That Has A Shit Brand. I'm A Hockey Fan, I Travel A Bit, Honestly, I'm A Little Odd And I Collect Things From Places I've Been, Things I Like, And Sometimes Things That Are Associated With Other Things I Like.
For Example, One Of The Minor League Affiliates For The Dallas Stars, My Favorite NHL Team (Who Are Really Not That Good As Of Right Now, But Better Than They Have Been), Is A Team Called The Idaho Steelheads. I'm Looking On Their Website. Their A Decent Little Team. They Have A Cool Logo, As Most Of The Guys In Their League Do. You Figure, With A Meager Amount Of Talent, You Could Do Some Cool Things With That. Nope. Not A Chance. They Have Like Six Things In Their Store...
I Grew Up In Odessa, TX. We Had A CHL Team For A While, That Has Since Downgraded To NAHL. No Online Store At All. As A Matter Of Fact, As Far As I Can Tell, All Of Two NAHL Teams Have Branded Products You Can See On Their Websites And They're Pretty Much Just Ads For You To Come To The Fan Shop. What The Hell? In A Digital Age, You Would Think You Could Buy A Decent Looking T-Shirt Or Cap Of A Team In Idaho Or A Jersey From A Minor League Team Across The State. I Don't Know. Dear People Of The Internet, Sell Your Brand! It's All You Have.
I Work For A Company Who Also Does Very Little By Way Of Branded Product. Sure, They Have A Facebook Page, But That's Just Not Enough. I've Tried In The Past To Bring Designs To The Guys Doing Apparel And What-Not, But Have Only Been Met With Resistance. Truthfully, It's Not MY Brand, But I Know I Missed Opportunity When I See One. - BB

Today Is The Greatest...

I've Wanted To Start A Business For A Long Time. I Tried Once, But Was Met With Very Little Success. Mostly Due To Lack Of Determination, Perseverance, And Work On My Part. I Think This Time, I'll Try Something Different...

I Have Some Ideas. Quite A Few, Actually, But One In Particular Has Me Stuck.

I've Been Reading Some Of Chris Guillebeau's Stuff And I Think He May Be Onto Something. It’s A Ready, Fire, Aim Philosophy. In Other Words, Do It Now And Fix It As You Go Along. The Work Is What’s Important And It’s Important You Do It Now.

I’m Interested In Building A Community Around A Product, Not Just Selling Stuff. I Really Want To Make It Easy For People To Find What They Like, Buy It, And Recommend It To People. I Can’t Be The Only Who Sees Things They Own In The Amazon “Customers Also Bought…” Section, Right? I Guess We’ll See.

I've Been Trying To Take Care Of Myself A Little Bit Better These Days. I've Been Eating Better For A While, But Have Hit A Plateau In My Weight Loss. So, Naturally, I've Been Looking At Other Ways To Cut Weight In A Healthy Way.
I'm Five Days Into The 30/30 Thing, But Have Not Seen Any Results As Of Yet. I Have Ordered Tim Ferriss' Book, The 4-Hour Body, And Will Probably Be Keeping You Guys Updated With That. I Also Ordered Some Branch Chain Amino Acids, Which I'm Pretty Eager To Try. Please Don't Think This Is Because I'm Ripping Up And Working Out All The Time And What-Not. I Don't Work Out. At All. I'm Eager To Try Them Because I Have Been Having These CRAZY Sugar Cravings...Which, Of Course, I Feed. I'm Guessing That Probably Doesn't Help The Cause. So, These BCAAs Help Regulate Blood Sugar And Are Supposed To Stifle Sugar Cravings. Frankly, I'd Like To Enjoy Whatever Sugary Delight Instead Of "Holy Crap I Have To Eat This Whole Bag Of x So As To Feed This Mess I've Made Of My Life," If You Know What I Mean. So, Yeah. There's That. - BB

Worst Blog Ever...

So, As Some Of You Know, A Few Months Ago, My Girlfriend Found Out She Was Pregnant. She's Due In July. I'm 32 Years Old And This Is My First Kiddo, So I'm Excited.
Also, We Got Married Last Week. No Big Deal. We Went To The JP On Our Four Year Anniversary And Got Married. Her Parents And Sister Were There. We Went To Lunch Afterwards. It Was Really Nice And WAY Less Stress Than The Last Time I Got Married.

Up Until A Few Months Ago, I Was A Pack A Day Smoker And Had Been Since I Was 16. I'd Been Smoking Regularly Since I Was 10 Or So. There Have Been Some Recent Studies On The Effects Of "Third Hand" Smoke In Infants. There Was Talk Of SIDS And Things Like That. That Obviously Scares The Shit Out Of Me...
So, Having Tried To Quit A Few Times In The Past, I Knew There Was No Way I Was Going Cold Turkey. So, Vapor. Yep. I'm On The Train. The Vapor Train. Yep.
I Had Tried e-cigs, Like BLU, Before, But Something Was Never Quite Right With Them. They Always Tasted Burnt And Reminded Of This One Bad Habit I Used To Have. Some Of My Friends Had Stopped Smoking On Them With eGo Style Batteries And Flavored Nicotine Juices Poured Into Tanks, So I Figured I Should Give It Another Shot. That's Been 4-5 Months Ago And I've Been Cigarette Free For 90-ish Days. Much Better. Now, There's Another Problem. Juice. I Have Tried At Least 50 Kinds Of e-Juice In That Time. I've Found A Few That I Can Puff On All Day, But Those Are Few And Far Between...

Another Problem With Vaping Is There's So Much To Choose From. How Do I Know What I Like? Well, I Have An Idea. A Couple Of Other People Have Had A Similar Idea, But After Reading Reviews Of Their Services, I'm Convinced They're Not Doing It Right. So, You Might Hear More About This Later. - BB
